Often we are asked how much medical insurance costs per person per year so that applicants of Spanish residency under the age of 65 have an idea of the expected costs.

Below are example of quotes that have been obtained assuming no major health complications. Per person dependent on age – This is from a company that cover clients residing in all provinces of Spain.

Age 30 785.75€

Age 40 849.34€

Age 50 1,017.93€

Age 60 1,403.87€

Age 64 (maximum age) 1,725.80€

Malaga and Cordoba Province 

Age 0 – 55 489.60€ annual payment

Age 56 – 60 587.52€ annual payment

Age 61 – 65 783.36€ annual payment

These are offer rates for clients with no existing medical conditions – Otherwise age 0 – 65 – 979.20€

66 and over 2,016€ annual payment

76 and over 2,776.32€ annual payment
